Ilka’s Private Journal - Part 3
From the Desk of Ilka: Prada, Paperwork & Pure Nonsense
Ah, another Monday in the glamorous world of family law. Prada heels on, espresso in hand, and… thud. There it is again — another stack of “evidence” from Captain Conflict.
I glance through it. The usual. Accusations with all the substance of a gluten-free meringue. No dates. No proof. No logic.
“Ilka, I swear it happened.”
Right. And I swear my handbag just paid its own credit card bill.
I used to ask for evidence. Now, I just smile, take notes, and mentally calculate how much that new Gucci tote will cost. Because here’s the truth: Captain Conflict isn’t really my client — he’s my retirement plan.
What really gets me is how he lies with such Olympic-level confidence. If he’s lying to me like this, how is he selling this circus act to his girlfriend? I almost want to send her a fruit basket with a note that says, Run while you can. But then again, I like my handbags.
